The special feature of this event is that everyone is allowed to partake, no matter whether he or she is a professional or a casual biker who merely wants to test his or her limits.

For those who are more inclined to cheers one the knights on their two-wheeled steeds and prefer to cycle without time keeping and starting numbers, we would like to recommend the following tour:

Enduro Circuit Root Trail:

The Enduro sport is booming, there's no doubt about that. This opens the door for epic circuits in the Saalbach Hinterglemm bike arena. No matter whether the tours boast both tough ascents and tricky downhill sections, these bikes can handle any challenge, assuming the rider know how to handle these metal beasts.
The "Kohlmais" mountain rises into the sky right behind the bike'n soul hotel eva,VILLAGE. This area is a well-known host of numerous events of the 1991 Alpine Skiing World Cup and, of course, a playground for mountain-oriented athletes in both winter and summer.

A very special trail awaits at the summit. We don't want to use the term "epic" too often, but in this case it is truly appropriate. This single trail weaves its way through forests and meadows with breathtaking views as a constant companion... But let's get back to the trail itself, shall we?

As befits any proper mountain bike trail, one needs to bite the bullet in terms of ascent. You might even enjoy it. Who knows? First, you head off directly from the hotel along a slight towards the "Spielberghaus". After you have reached the "Spielberghaus" - a great location for a little break - you rejoin the trail a few metres behind the hut en route to the "Panorama Alm". Shortly before you reach said "Panorama Alm" you'll need all your strength and concentration: this is quite a steep ramp, even for more hardened bikers. Once you have mastered this hurdle, you pedal on towards the mountain station of the legendary 4-seater cable car leading up to the "Kohlmais". The topography of the area up here hints at the pleasure the trail will offer. East of the mountain station, directly behind the "Panorama" 6-seater chairlift, you drop in to the trail. After you have mastered the first tricky sections, it may be good to stop and take in the unique panoramic view.

The infamous trail runs towards "Schönleiten" at a relatively constant altitude; it is the connection between "Kohlmaisgipfelbahn" and "Wildenkarkogel". In some sections you'll have to pedal quite hard, but root junkies will experience true moments of happiness on this trail. For beginners, it may, however, be quite a bumpy ride, because the name of the trail speaks for itself. Nevertheless, the trail is a perfect choice for honing your own riding skills.
The trail can be tackled in both directions, which means it is a true Enduro circuit in the heart of Saalbach Hinterglemm.
