The ski lift operators of Saalbach Hinterglemm have always been innovative pioneers. In addition to developing new technologies, the region has always attached great importance to sustainability in terms of nature.

The development of reservoirs and the affiliated snow-making technology not only means that the ski arena can guarantee snow, but also preserves the Alpine region as a whole. The meadows are rich and lush in spring. The slow-melting, ecologically produced artificial snow (protects the surface longer) benefits the underlying surface. The Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski arena has invested more than 390 million Euros in ecologising, modernising, and improving the ski resort.
