9th eva, MINI gathering

Best weather and fantastic rides, challenges, a delicious supporting programme and lots of fun - that's what the eva, MINI meeting offers every year to guests and MINI fans. In 2019, many MINI enthusiasts gathered again and spent a weekend together in Saalbach.

After the raffle of the starting numbers and a first meeting in the eva,ALM on the first evening, the engines started on Friday morning on the Saalach and the MINIs shone in the morning sun. The MINI meeting started with the panorama and pleasure trip in the Hochkönigs area.

Among the MINI drivers were again many familiar faces, legends and also new MINI fans joined us. The MINI snake winding its way out of the valley was as colourful as rarely seen and we were thrilled by the variety of MINIs.

With sunshine shining on us, the tour led us towards Rauris to our first stop at the Waldcafé. There you could not only see a dreamlike panorama but also the Maria Elend pilgrimage chapel with the legendary Augenbründl. Afterwards we went towards the Hochkönig. In Maria Alm, the group strengthened itself on the Juven Alm for the MINI Drivers Challenge, which, as every year, demanded the skill and concentration of all drivers. It got pretty exciting at the end - because the long-time winner was only a few hundredths of a second behind the new youngster in the group! Pure action!

Pass roads, sunshine and water games - day 2 had it all in store for us. 

We started again together in Saalbach - one last time with the polishing cloth over the MINIs and off we went - towards Zell am See. The first part of the tour was ideal for our "cruisers". Once across the Pinzgau the way led us to the Gerlos Pass. Roads lined with mountains and a winding ascent finally brought us to the toll station. Here a few cows were amazed when they saw the long queue of colorful MINIs.

After this "cruiser" stage we had something special planned for our MINI friends. The Krimml Waterfalls were the perfect break for this hot summer day. Stretch your legs, eat ice cream and marvel at the power place at the foot of the waterfall. The break could not have been more pleasant.

But in addition to the humming of the engines, the rumbling of the stomachs became louder and louder. So we went back to Bramberg, where a culinary highlight was waiting for us at the Weyrhof. And for digestion there was a lively MINI Challenge which provided a welcome cool down for some. 

Back in Saalbach we had to get ready for the "MINI night" and then off to the eva,ALM.
While the MINI friends had a funny chat with delicious cottage delicacies, the evaluation of the MINI Challenge was in full swing backstage. 
After dessert, the winners of this year's MINI Challenge were announced and celebrated! 

Finally, our long-time MINI friend gave an exclusive concert for us. Good mood and party mood prevailed until late into the night!

The following morning, the MINI Meeting 2019 was rounded off with a leisurely breakfast. It was great with you! We are looking forward to next year - because there we will celebrate a JUBILE!!!! 10. eva, MINI Meeting 02 - 05 July 2020
